Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with Thuru Store. We are committed to delivering healthy plants and gardening products safely across Sri Lanka.
Please read our Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Delivery Coverage
We currently deliver to most areas within Sri Lanka.
Delivery availability may vary depending on:
- Courier coverage
- Weather conditions
- Product type
- Delivery distance
- Order size
Certain fragile or oversized plants may only be available for selected areas or store pickup.
2. Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times:
- Colombo & Suburbs: 3–8 working days
- Western Province: 6–8 working days
- Other Districts: 6–8 working days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary during:
- Heavy rain or extreme weather
- Public holidays
- High order volumes
- Courier delays
- Special promotions or seasonal periods
3. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated based on Delivery location
- Colombo Selected cities LKR 990
- Gampaha Selected cities LKR 3990
- Kalutarao Selected cities LKR 3990
Shipping charges will be displayed during checkout or confirmed before dispatch.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Large plants
- Bulk orders
4. Packaging of Plants
At Thuru Store, we carefully pack plants to minimize transport stress and damage.
However, due to the living nature of plants:
- Minor soil movement may occur
- Slight leaf yellowing or bending may happen
- Plants may require watering and recovery after delivery
This is considered normal transport stress and not product damage.
5. Delivery Attempts
Please ensure:
- Someone is available to receive the order
- Contact numbers are active and reachable
- Delivery details are accurate
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address
- Unreachable customer
- No response from recipient
additional delivery charges may apply for re-delivery.
6. Store Pickup
Customers may collect orders from our store location after receiving a “Ready for Pickup” confirmation.
Store Pickup Hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 9.00 AM – 4.00 PM
- Sunday: Closed

7. Order Tracking & Communication
Customers may receive:
- Order confirmation messages
- Pickup notifications
- Delivery coordination calls or WhatsApp messages
Please ensure your phone number is correct when placing the order.
8. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
If you receive:
- Wrong items
- Severely damaged plants
- Missing items
please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Order number
- Photos/videos of the issue
